Every message goes to the team that builds PlantAdvocate — no ticket maze, no chatbot runaround. We reply within 2 business days, usually faster.
For anything at all — questions, problems, confusion. One address, monitored daily.
[email protected]Email us with your device model, iOS version, what you were doing when it broke, and a screenshot if you have one. The more specific, the faster the fix.
Report a bug →Subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple Account — see the questions below for the exact steps. For anything account-related we can't automate, email us.
Get account help →If your plant isn't in the database yet, tell us — flagged species get prioritized. Feature ideas welcome too; the roadmap listens.
Flag a species →Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → PlantAdvocate, and cancel or change your plan there. If you cancel, you keep premium features until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are also handled by Apple — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Sign in with the same Apple Account you used when you subscribed, then go to Settings inside PlantAdvocate and tap Restore Purchases. If your plan still doesn't show up, email us and we'll sort it out.
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. That removes your account, plant records, photos, and care history from our active systems. Prefer email? Send a deletion request to [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll confirm when it's done. Details on timing live in our privacy policy.
First, check that the plant's species is set correctly — advice is grounded in our species database, so a wrong species means wrong advice. If the species is right and something still looks off, email us with the plant and the advice you got. A person reviews every report, and database corrections ship to everyone. Plants are living things: our advice is careful guidance, not a guarantee.
PlantAdvocate tells you honestly when a species isn't covered rather than guessing. Flag it from the app or email us the species name — requests directly shape which species we verify and add next.
Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → PlantAdvocate and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Focus modes and Scheduled Summary can also quietly swallow reminders. If notifications are on and reminders still aren't arriving, that's a bug — tell us.
